🎨 I haven't done an update of work in a while, so here one is...
➤ Hal Jordan : The Green Lantern
I'm pretty excited for the Morrison/Sharpe book, the one-shot crossover with Huckleberry Hound, & the Hardman/Bechko OGN finally dropping in TP.
Believe me, I never thought I'd be so jazzed about Green Lantern, especially Hal in 2/3 of these cases, but here I am. At no expense to Marvel, but DC is very exciting these days
➤ DreamBird / A character from the next issue of Spinner-Rack...
➤ My David Lynch Portrait.
➤ Drawings that came together as a Guns N' Roses Piece.

Most likely not the final cover but I'm working up an all-new Spinner-Rack #1!
This piece is based on an old Spanish Batman/Flash (Infantino?) cover I ran into a while back but is coincidentally, a nice mirror to my final chapter splash-page homage to "Werewolf by Night" #1 in the first issue of Spinner-Rack.
Get caught up and peep that aforementioned homage with "Giant-Size Spinner-Rack #1" + a sketch of your choice on Etsy.
I also recently did a piece of Rathraq from John Arcudi & David Rubin's "Rumble" but never posted them. Here's the color & BW below the covers...
I hope James Harren returns to the book someday but Rubin can stay as long as he wants (and better win an Eisner this year)!!
Still can't believe he's doing Rumble, Ether, & Black Hammer specials all at once...
Like Dick Grayson taking over as Batman during Grant Morrison's run, I would have been absolutely fine if the legacy handoff on Thor had stayed permanent.
#706 was a shocker and I'm very interested in what this "At the Gates of Valhalla" one-shot will be now (got the Ron Garney variant comin')...
This was a really a great run in the midst of Jason Aaron's larger Thor Saga and made Russell Dauterman a superstar artist by allowing him to dedicate himself fully to one book and create a consistently epic and graceful aesthetic.
Definitely interested to see where he lands next at Marvel, but I'm sure Mike Del Mundo & Christian Ward are going to give the new Aaron "Thor" series the visual grandeur it requires. I've seen some really great covers so far.

I worked up this Impossible Man VS The Great Gazoo in Arcade Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots of Mr Mxyzptlk VS Bat-Mite after seeing one of these arcade machines in a Dave & Buster's ad and having always wanted to work these guys, archetype relics of a lost time into a drawing.
As for the rest, I've been doing a 3rd rewatch of The Return along with all the extras on the DVD set and the Twin Peaks fever still runs strong and I never got around to drawing Mr C after getting to Dougie and Coop Classic...

"Akira" by Katsuhiro Otomo
I love the movie, it's a visual feast every time, but the manga is transcendent and I was happy to read all but the final 12 installments in Steve Oliff's brilliant color via the unfinished Marvel/Epic TPB run when I read it for the first time. That's what led to this "Akira" piece where Kaneda is being pursued by Tetsuo looking like a bit of a ghoul...
It'll be interesting to do the page to page analysis to this "Bartkira (Simpsons)" indie comix homage book I picked up at Portland's Floating World Comics last weekend (great Shop, they have Moebius cards for $1 and so much more!!)
